Camatha merupakan vocal grup yang dibentuk oleh gabungan sahabat baik UGM. Mas Aki(alm) , mas Paripurna dan mas Hotma, sudah bisa dikatakan sbg camatha.
Anggota grup putri karena begitu lulus tersebar yang sering tampil hanya istri mas Aki, mbak Sita, mbak Syuli istri mas Hotma dan mbak Ante
Karena kurang ramai, sering diajak beliau2 mbarang

Orthodontic tooth movement is induced and maintained by activation and re-activation of orthodontic apliances. The activations will induce an inflammatory reaction where prostaglandins will be released and stimulate osteoclast formation leading to bone resorption at the pressure side. The inhibition of prostaglandins production to reduce the pain by Non Steroid Anti Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) may impede the tooth movement. Therefore, the major aim of our research is to find a proper analgesic against pain during orthodontic treatment.
To achieve an efficient search for alternative analgesics, a thorough literature search is indicated, since a lot of research has already been performed in this field. This literature search is to study the influence of analgesics on osteoclast in vitro and in vivo, during orthodontictooth movement.

PERUBAHAN KERATINISASI EPITEL MUKOSA PALATUM KERAS PADA
PEMAKAI ALAT ORTODONTIK LEPASAN

dipresentasikan dengan poster pada acara kongresPDGI di Bali 1 April 2011, dan akan di submit ke majalah terakreditasi
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan keratinisasi epitel palatum keras pada pemakai alat ortodontik lepasan tanpa diikuti dengan pengaktifan alat selama 1 bulan.Subyek peneltian adalah 10 mahasiswa UGM yang memenuhi krteria.
Subyek diharuskan memakai alat ortodontik lepasan yang tidak diaktifkan yang terdiri dari plat dasar resin akrilik, klamer Adam dan labial arch, 15-24 jam selama 1 bulan. Pengambilan apusan epitel pada mukosa palatum keras dilakukan 2 kali yaitu sebelum dan sesudah pemakaian alat ortodontik lepasan. Semua hasil apusan subyek dilakukan pewarnaan Papanicolau. Pengamatan dan perhitungan sel mukosa palatum keras yang mengalami keratinisasi dilakukan per 100 sel secara acak di bawah mikrospik cahaya dengan perbesaran 100x. Data yang didapat dianalisa dengan menggunakan uji t.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat penurunan berkmakna (p<0,05) jumlah sel yang mengalami keratinisasi pada mukosa palatum keras sesudah 1 bulan pemakaian alat ortodontik lepasan tanpa pengaktifan.
Kesimpulan: 1). Terdapat perubahan keratinisasi sel epitel mukosa palatum keras pada pemakai alat ortodontik lepasan.yang tidak diaktifkan 2) Terjadi penurunan keratinisasi sel epitel mukosa palatum keras setelah pembakaian alat ortodontik lepasan selama 1 bulan (p<0,05)

The aim of this research is to investigate the keratinization changes of the hard palate mucosa after using removable orthodontic appliances for 1 month
The subjects of this research were 10 students of Gadjah Mada University whose had the certain criteria. The subjects must wear nonactivated removable orthodontic appliances which were consisted of acrycilic resin base plate, Adam clasps and labial arch for 15 to 24 hours over 1 month. The smear of hard palate mucosa was taken twice, before and after wearing the removable orthodontic appliances. All of the smears were stained by Papanicolaou technique. The keratin cells number of the hard palate mucosa were counted per 100 cells randomly using light microscope at 100x magnification. The data was analyzed using t-test
The result showed that the keratine cells number (p<0,05) of the hard palate mucpsa was decreased significantly after using of acrylic-base nonactivated removable orthodontic appliance for 1 month.
Conclusion: 1) There was a change on keratinization of hard palate epithel mucosa in acrylic base-orthodontic appliance after using of acrylic-base nonactivated removable orthodontic appliance for 1 month. 2) The Keratin cells number were decreased significantly (p<0,05)
